The Process

From first hello to the final flourish, heres how your wedding cake comes together.

01. Say Hello

Tell me your wedding date, venue and a little about your wedding plans. I’ll check my diary and, if I’m free, send you my Wedding Cake Guide for you to have a look through.

02. Save The Date

If you’d like The Master Cakesmith to create your wedding cake, a £100 deposit will secure your date in our diary

03. Design & Planning

Around six to three months before your wedding day the fun begins. Together, we’ll create a mood board inspired by your wedding — think dresses, flowers, stationery, table settings, and cake ideas. All those beautiful details help us capture the style and atmosphere of your big day. Then we’ll get together on Zoom to chat through your ideas and bring your wedding cake to life.

04. Tasting Time

Everyone’s favourite part of the wedding cake planning! Your perfect excuse for a little ‘cake date’. We’ll send you a beautifully packaged sample box to enjoy at home. Choose any 5 flavours for £35.00, or if you can’t decide, go all in with the full flavour box for £50.00 and try them all. 

05. Finalise Details

Around six weeks before your wedding, we’ll tie up all those little details - your final design, flavours, styling and set-up times. I’ll confirm your final quote and lease with any other suppliers where needed.

06. On The Day

It’s wedding day! We’ll take care of every detail of your cake delivery, ensuring everything is picture-perfect before you say “I do.”
